I love to paint existing items sometimes. This ceramic skull was a plain white when I purchased it from Michael's at the beginning of Halloween season. I painted it flat black, then pinstriped it with 1-Shot Lettering Enamels, which are glossy... giving the skull a striking 'black-on-black- effect. I have several unpainted resin skulls from Michael's that I am going to use to explore this further.
